WCW Saturday Night aired on May 22, 1993, bringing another week of World Championship Wrestling action to TBS. The show was a long-running weekly staple of professional wrestling television, originally launched in 1971 by Georgia Championship Wrestling before evolving into WCW Saturday Night in 1992.
